The new MV Agusta Brutale 800 RR is utterly gorgeous and has the go to match the show

MV Agusta have unveiled the new Brutale 800 RR at the EICMA, in Milan. The bike features an updated, Euro 4-compliant 798cc three-cylinder engine that produces 140 horsepower and 86Nm of torque. MV claim ‘exceptional’ levels of refinement for the new RR, with a 50% reduction in NVH compared to the previous model. New/updated bits on the Brutale RR include a harmonic damper, a new mechanical cam-chain tensioner, new camshafts, new valve guides, new countershaft, starter motor and primary gear drive. The changes are aimed at enhancing power delivery, reducing noise and improving long-term reliability.

The new Brutale 800 RR, which weighs 175 kilos, also gets new 17-inch forged alloy wheels and updated MVICS electronics, including a full ride-by-wire throttle and 8-level traction control system. The bike is equipped with an on-board diagnostics (OBD) system, which keeps track of the machine’s various electronics and electronic sub-systems. There’s a new steering damper with eight levels of adjustment, fully adjustable 43mm Marzocchiinverted forks with gold-anodized aluminum stanchions at front, and fully adjustable Sachs monoshock at the back. Brembo brakes, with twin 320mm brake discs and radial-mount 4-piston calipers at front, 220mm brake disc at the rear and Bosch 9 Plus ABS complete the package. Claimed top speed is 245kph and available colours include white/black and red/black schemes. Good job, MV Agusta!
