MCN's first ride video: The BMW HP2 Sport!

The boxer twin doesn't sound very nice, but 140bhp at the crank is not too bad

We've spoken about the R1200S-based BMW HP2 Sport earlier - it's the machine with which BMW have been going endurance racing, and they haven't been doing too badly either! Watch this video and see what Trevor Franklin of MCN, who rides the bike for the first time, has to say about it...

...and from France, here's the Voxan GTV1200. It's powered by a 1166cc, 106 horsepower v-twin, weighs 180 kilos, and uses belt-drive instead of the usual chain. ABS is optional. If the bike does go into production next year, it could cost as much as US$25,000!

while the jap bikes are all as good (or as bad...!) as expected, it's the voxan that really interests me. going by what you've written, it seems to be a good, smooth and fast sports-tourer and it looks distinctive too. can you give us more details on this bike please?
